These are just some the questions asked by young children who have a parent in prison.

These unique Australian Children's books, sensitively written and beautifully illustrated give children stories, which can help them relate to their own situation. They explain prison routines such as meals, sleeping, playing and working and visiting processes. Most children learn frightening and inaccurate information about prison from TV and movies. It is hoped that these books will provide all children with more accurate and useful information and help them to better understand the situation faced by a child who has a parent in prison, therefore promoting understanding and tolerance.
