Every Kid's Hero

There are lots of “Every Kids Heroes” at the National Australia Bank in Victoria. A major team effort by everyone there, and especially Geoff Greer, Executive General Manager of NAB Business Bank for Victoria, Jim Young, Executive General Manager GBS hr and the very generous staff throughout the branches delivered 100 family gift packs that we distributed to our families.  This was a great effort by the NAB and especially welcome at Christmas.

Over 70 families received these backpacks, which were delivered by Senior Transition Support Consultant, Monica Venville and her husband. These guys are legends and a tribute to the generosity of the employees who also gave their time, putting in a lot of hard work to source the items externally at a good price. Each back pack contained a water bottle, a lunch box cooler, textas and notebook, a cap, sun screen, two balls and a pen. The kids were proud to wear the backpacks as none of them had logos and were full of such exciting and useful items.

The generosity of everyone in this project was enthusiastically recognised by the children and their parents and Good Beginnings Australia.
